One of the multimedia sound is good direcomendasikan XS Multimedia Sound System. Never be satisfied with letting alone, we have spent much time looking for an audio system that can drop the B & W's mighty Zeppelin from its perch as our favorite iPod sound system. And now we finally found it - the Focal-JMlab's Focal XS Multimedia Sound System. The Focal XS is a logical follow-up Focal's awesome iCub powered subwoofer, which has 2.1-channel amplifier, but does not come with satellite speakers. |

The new system not only includes a very good pair, but also an integrated iPod dock and USB interface so you can synchronize the iPod to iTunes, and convert digital audio from PC's USB port.
| To be completely fair to the Zeppelin, these devices really designed for different applications: Where Zeppelin system is designed to fill the room with sound, which is more of a Focal XS-field near the best system when you enjoy sitting near him. And that may explain why, not like Zeppelin, Focal XS which has no analog video output that will allow you to watch movies stored on your iPod on a big screen TV. Focal an amp in the subwoofer cabinet XS's puts out 30 watts for each satellite speakers and 70 watts to the sub. The Focal iCub's amps, with a comparison, produces 75 and 150 watts, respectively. Zeppelin amp which, meanwhile, sends 25 watts to the full-range speakers and 50 watts for the sub. |
|
Focal XS satellite two-way speakers with 3-inch mid-range paper cone drivers and 0.75-inch mylar dome tweeter; 6.5-inch sub features a paper cone. Satellites are permanently attached to the anodized aluminum stand that put the drivers only on the level of the ear when placed on the desktop. Hard-wired cables, each about five meters, connect the satellite to the subwoofer cabinet. A dock at the bottom of the right satellite can host and recharge your iPod, or you can plug an analog output from other audio devices into the pier's 1/8-inch aux input. You can also pipe the digital audio from your PC to the speakers via the USB cable, using the XS Focal's integrated Burr-Brown DAC. Connect the dock to your PC, press a button on the back of the base, and you can tune your iPod to your iTunes library.

When not aligned mode, you can use one of the iPod control wheel or wireless remote control to play the song. Remote has buttons for power, volume, play / pause, and jump to the front / rear, and back magnetic can "stick" with the speaker stand. An on / off switch and a set of volume control buttons are also located on the bottom right of the channel. The subwoofer is designed with a shooting at a large vent on the front and an independent volume control. That does not extinguish the gut-bass pressure of iCub, but it was easy to Zeppelin's similar. |
