At CES 2009 this week, Lenovo launched the all-in-one desktop and three new notebooks, all aimed at multimedia and gaming entertainment. The Chinese-based computer company, spun off from IBM several years ago, is also upgrading its ThinkPad W700 with an optional slide-out and the second screen S10 subnotebook with social networking software. All-in-one provides the Intel Core 2 Duo processing technology; up to 1 TB hard drive space; up to 4 GB of fast DDR3 memory; optional Blu-ray player; a sub-woofer bass; Dolby Home Theater audio certification; high-speed Wi-Fi ; a 6-in-1 media card reader; VeriFace face recognition technology, because the facial image as a logon using a password; and side-mounted USB and FireWire ports with an additional USB port on the back panel.
