MPC program was never successful and today to see the software or hardware is labeled with the term "MPC". As a standard term failure, and as the Software Publishers Association turned from consumer software in the late 1990s, interest in the MPC standards disappear. Labeling software problems continues, especially in the field of computer games, where most 3D video cards that have been made with a very diverse display capabilities, and there is no common industry standard labels that consumers know whether their card is strong enough to let them play certain games.
